An unidentified man was fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police in Seaview Gardens, St. Andrew, last evening.

Police say the incident occurred along Kingfish Road, at about 8:05 P.M.

It’s alleged that a Keltec pistol fitted with a magazine containing five rounds of ammunition was seized.

The incident is being probed by the Inspectorate of Professional Standards Oversight Bureau (IPROB) and the Independent Commission of Investigation (INDECOM).
