A traffic cop, who was reportedly run over by a motorist being prosecuted for a traffic offence, yesterday, has been hospitalised in critical condition.

A video of the incident is circulating on social media.

Chairman of the police federation sergeant Arleen McBean told Irie Fm News that the association is providing support to the injured cop and his family.

Sergeant McBean condemned the behaviour shown to lawmen while doing their job.
