Road users urged to exercise greater caution, following quadruple fatal crash in Braco, Trelawny

With some 230 people in road crashes since January, head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, PSTEB, Assistant Commissioner of Police Gary Mckenzie is again urging Jamaicans to use the nation’s roads with caution.

The renewed call comes following a quadruple fatal crash in Braco Trelawny yesterday.

The crash involved a Toyota Probox motorcar which was being operated as a taxi, and a tractor trailer.

The motorcar reportedly collided into the rear of the trailer.

The four killed were occupants of the motor car.

ACP Mckenzie described the crash as unfortunate and avoidable.

He said all road users must take stock of themselves and exercise greater care on the roads.
