Up to last evening, approximately 60 per cent of National Water Commission (NWC) customers had their supplies restored.

This according to the Commission’s Acting Corporate Public Relations Manager, Delano Williams.

Mr Williams said last evening efforts were focused on restoring supply to areas of Hellshire, St. Catherine and communities served by the Hope Plant in St. Andrew.

Work was also focused on areas of Manchester which had no system online.

In the meantime, Mr. Williams is reporting some success in restoring services to urban areas along the north coast.
