Sections of the Island are still without cell phone service following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

Customers of the two main telecommunications providers -Flow and Digicel, living in southern parishes, are among those impacted.

Energy Minister Daryl Vaz says efforts are underway to restore electricity to cell sites.

He added that he has received the National Water Commission, NWC’s priority list of pumping stations for Jamaica Public Service (JPS) restoration.
