Jamaica to host Caribbean Archery Development Championship in Priory St Ann from July 10-14

Eight countries including host Jamaica and the United States have been confirmed to compete in the Caribbean Archery Development Championship set to be held at Plantation Cove, in Priory St Ann from July 10-14. 

The other participating countries  who will be showcasing their best archers in the region include:  Barbados, Bahamas, Colombia, Guyana, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago and the US Virgin Islands. 

Meanwhile, approximately 25 athletes are down to represent team Jamaica at the four day Championship, with the final list to be ratified and released shortly. 

The Jamaican team will be guided by the New Zealand based head coach Petra Baker. 

The opening ceremony is set for the 11th of July.
