Frazier’s Whip will open Concacaf Women’s Club Championship campaign on the road

Jamaica Women’s Premier League Champions Frazier’s Whip will open their campaign in the inaugural Concacaf Women’s Club Championship on the road.

This as they have been drawn to face group ‘a’ rivals Alawalense at the Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Costa Rica.

The match which is the opening fixture in match week one, in the group stage will be played on august 20.

The St. Catherine based team will return to action on September 5 with another game on the road against Mexican opponents CF Monterrey.

Play on match week three sees frazier’s whip hosting another Mexican outfit…..Tigress at the National Stadium on September 18 before wrapping up their group stage campaign against Gotham FC of the United States…..also at the National Stadium.

At the conclusion of group stage play, the group winners and runners-up will advance to the playoffs….which includes a semifinals, third place decider and a  final.

Those games will be played in may 2025 in a centralized venue to be announced.

The tournament is also the sole path-way through which clubs in concacaf can qualify for the new fifa Women’s Club World Cup, which fifa has committed to launching in the near future.
