More than 100 people with outstanding traffic warrants arrested
Over 100 people with outstanding traffic warrants were arrested during operations across the island last week.
This, as the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) has ramped up operations targeting traffic offenders.
The unit had released the names of some 70 people with multiple warrants last month.
Head of PSTEB, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Gary McKenzie, gave an update on the efforts to arrest those individuals for whom warrants have been issued for various traffic offenses.
ACP McKenzie urged those motorists with outstanding warrants to turn themselves in.
