Prime Minister Andrew Holness says he remains steadfast in his plans to develop a ‘Centre of Government’ at the National Heroes Park in Kingston. 

In 2017, Mr. Holness signed a Memorandum of Understanding with China Construction America (CCA) for the crafting of technical plans for the project’s development. 

It is aimed at bringing together the different branches of the State to form a campus of Government which will be leveraged for greater efficiency, security and customer service delivery by the public sector.

Noting his commitment to the project, Mr. Holness said he remains concerned that the area has not been developed into one of national pride. 

He maintained that changes will come. 

Mr. Holness also noted that consultations will continue with citizens who will be impacted by the planned changes.
