Cricket West Indies announce packed 2024 home schedule for Windies Men
Regional governing body Cricket West Indies has announced an action-packed schedule for the West Indies Men team, featuring three international home tours against South Africa, England and Bangladesh, from May to December 2024.
The home tours begin with a visit from South Africa, for three T20 Internationals at Sabina Park. The matches which are prior to the start of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup are scheduled to be played on May 23, 25 and 26.
The Proteas then return to the region, after the West Indies Test Tour to England in July, with a two Test series to be played in Trinidad (August 7-11) and Guyana (August 15-19), followed by a second three-match T20I Series at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad (August 23, 25 & 27), ahead of the 2024 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Following a white ball tour away to Sri Lanka in October, the West Indies will welcome England to the Caribbean for a white-ball tour consisting of three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five T20Is. The series will be played across Antigua (October 31, November 2 & 6), Barbados (November 6,9,10) and Saint Lucia (November 14, 16, 17).
Bangladesh then completes the action packed year with an all-format tour before Christmas with two Tests in Antigua (November 22-26) and Jamaica (Nov 30 to December 4), three ODIs in St. Kitts (December 8, 10, 11) and three T20Is in Saint Vincent (December 15, 17, 19).
