PNP demands that government provides clarity regarding recent charter flight that landed in Jamaica allegedly in breach of immigration and customs protocols
The People’s National Party (PNP) is demanding that the government provides clarity regarding a recent chartered flight that landed in Jamaica allegedly in breach of immigration and customs protocols.
In a statement, the Opposition says the government must disclose the origin, destination and apparent purpose of the flight; the identity of those who chartered the flight; and why the flight was allowed to land in Jamaica without proper clearance.
Opposition Spokesperson on Foreign and Regional Affairs Dr. Angela Brown Burke says the government must explain why the 218 passengers were allowed to disembark.
