Royal Flat community in Manchester rocked by murder of popular DJ
A male Disc Jockey was shot and killed in Royal Flat, Manchester last evening.
He has been identified as Davian Anderson, otherwise called “Dippo”.
Police say at around 7: 55 p.m. Anderson was at a bar when he was approached by armed men who opened gunfire at him.
He was pronounced dead at hospital.
A woman was shot and wounded in the attack.
Opposition Spokesman on National Security, Senator Peter Bunting, who was addressing a People’s National Party divisional conference in Bellefield when the incident occurred, said he knew Anderson and worked with him on several occasions.
Bunting expressed alarm and concern over three recent murders in Manchester.
Meanwhile, Mandeville Mayor, Donovan Mitchell says the Royal Flat community has been rocked by Anderson’s murder.
Mayor Mitchell, who also serves as Councillor for the Royal Flat Division said Anderson was known by community members as a peaceful person.
He called on citizens to tell the police what they know about the incident while urging the community to allow lawmen to conduct their investigations.
