JTA President says data indicate that majority of feuds involving school children originate on what he calls “party buses”
President of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA) Leighton Johnson says data indicate that the majority of feuds involving school children originated on what he calls “party buses”.
Mr. Johnson made the disclosure at yesterday’s National Education Week church service, as he stressed the importance of the security forces improving their vigilance over the transportation sector and areas where students gather.
He also doubled down on calls for a National School Bus Programme to secure students’ safety and educators’ and parents’ peace of mind.
