Indecom probes wounding of police trainee by colleague at Yallahs Police Station
The Independent Commission of Investigations, Indecom is probing the wounding of a constable from the National Police Academy at the Yallahs Police Station in St Thomas on Saturday.
Speaking to Irie Fm News Indecom Commissioner Hugh Faulkner said initial reports reveal that the incident happened when a police trainee was reportedly clearing a firearm when it discharged and hit a colleague.
Mr Faulkner sought to clarify that the reports are preliminary and are not final until the investigation is concluded.
