400 Braco residents get access to piped water
Four hundred residents of Braco in Trelawny now have access to piped water.
This after the Braco pipeline extension project, was commissioned into service, on Thursday.
The project which cost $90 million forms part of the government rural water supply project.
This larger project is expected to be completed within the next 18 months.
Speaking at Thursday’s commissioning ceremony, Water Minister Matthew Samuda expressed excitement about the ministry’s ability to provide potable water to residents.
