The male student of Iriwn High accused of stabbing his school mate to death has been charged with murder.

The 14 year old boy’s identity is being withheld, as he is a minor.

The charge stems from the killing of 15 year old Raniel Plummer, last week.

Head of the St. James police division, Superintendent Eron Samuels said the boy appeared in court and was granted bail.

Last Thursday, Plummer was attacked by a group of students at the gate of the school.

He was fatally stabbed during the incident.

The student believed to be responsible for the stabbing was taken into custody, after he was brought in to the police by his parents.
