A 50 year old taxi operator died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision in Hanover, last night.

Dead is Dean Brady of Whitehall in Negril, Westmoreland.

Police reports are that at about 10: 25 P.M. Brady was driving a motor vehicle along the Orange Bay main road, in Green Island when it crashed into a disabled truck that was parked along the roadway.

Brady was pinned in the vehicle and had to be cut from the wreckage.

He was pronounced dead at hospital.
