Three men murdered in separate incidents in St. Catherine yesterday
Three men were shot and killed in separate incidents St. Catherine yesterday.
The deceased are: 27-year-old Kiwane Johnson, 21-year-old Tyrone Roberts and 53-year-old Everton Hurst.
The incidents occurred in Portmore, Old Harbour and Spanish Town.
In the most recent incident at about 2:45 p.m., Roberts otherwise called ‘Gungu’ was shot and killed on Panton Street.
It’s reported that Roberts was working on a building, when he was pounced upon by gunmen who shot him several times before fleeing on foot.
About an hour earlier at 1:25 p.m. Johnson otherwise called ‘Dappa’ of Walkers Avenue, Portmore was shot by gunmen in his community.
Residents heard explosions and summoned the police.
When the lawmen arrived, Johnson was seen on the ground with gunshots wounds and Hurst otherwise called ‘Canadian’ or ‘Yankee’ was found with gunshot wounds in Tawes Pen Meadows, Spanish Town at 11 a.m.
Police say residents stumbled upon his body along the bank of a canal and summoned them.
