Police appeal to owners of belongings left at Portmore toll road crash scene to retrieve items at PSTEB office
The police are appealing to persons who may have left their belongings at the scene of a crash along the Portmore toll road, in St. Catherine this morning, to visit the process office at the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) to collect their items.
At about 7:00 a.m., a yellow Toyota coaster travelling along the roadway from Portmore to Kingston, veered of the road and crashed in the vicinity of the wharf.
Over thirty passengers, including students, sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.
Their injuries are not considered life threatening.
Police say the belongings left at the scene, including school bags, have been secured and can be retrieved at the P-STEB office.
