The Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF is reporting a 7 per cent increase in gun seizures since the start of the year.

Police commissioner, Dr. Kevin Blake made the revelation during a press briefing on Tuesday.

He added that most of the guns seized are pistols and that ammunition seizures increased by 41 per cent.
