The St. Catherine South Police are still probing the circumstances that led to an arson attack that left four relatives dead at their home in Central Village last month.

The fire killed a mother, her two daughters, and her four-year-old grandson.

Reports are that the family was at their three-bedroom dwelling in the Compound community, when gunshots were heard and the house was seen ablaze. 

Four burnt bodies were found after cooling down operations were conducted.

Speaking at a town hall meeting on Sunday, Head of the St. Catherine South Police division, Senior Superintendent Christopher Phillips, noted that cops are awaiting some information from the fire brigade to advance the probe.
