A bartender who was two days into her employment at a bar in Williamsfield, in Siloah, St. Elizabeth was one of two people shot and killed at the establishment, last night.

She has been identified as 20-year-old Kishera Arscott, of Ballard’s River in Clarendon.

The other deceased is 37-year-old truck driver Daine Morgan of Williamsfield.

Reports are that at about 10:30 pm, Morgan and Arscott were at the bar when they were pounced upon by gunmen, who opened fire hitting them.

They were pronounced dead at hospital.

Head of the St. Elizabeth Police, Acting Superintendent Coleridge Minto said more than 33 spent shells were recovered from the scene.

Noting that Williamsfield is a peaceful community, ASP Minto said the police will be probing the incident thoroughly but swiftly.
