Second crash in Fern Gully this week, leaves 4 injured
Four people were injured in a motor vehicle crash in Fern Gully, St. Ann, today.
The crash which occurred in the afternoon, involved a garbage truck and a motor car.
Images of the accident received by Irie FM News, show the garbage truck on its side with rubbish strewn across the road and the car in a mangled state.
The condition of the occupants is not yet known.
Tuesday’s crash is the second in Fern Gully, this week.
On Sunday, 49 year old Suzette Thomas a housekeeper of Wildman Street in Kingston died as a result of injuries sustained when the bus in which she and 22 others were travelling crashed into an embankment.
Many of the other occupants including children were taken to hospital for treatment.
Up to Tuesday evening, five people remained in critical condition at the St. Ann’s Bay Hospital.
