Falmouth Mayor, Colin Gager says at least two overseas groups have shown interest in assisting with the repair of the Falmouth Town Hall.

It is almost a year since the Town Hall’s ceiling collapsed and steps are being taken to address the issue.

The building – a historic Georgian structure, is shared by the Trelawny Municipal Corporation and the Falmouth Parish Court.

Mayor Gager told IRIE FM news that he is working with the National Heritage Trust to determine which support to accept.

He noted that the support of Jamaicans is also welcomed.
