Eleven people including a female bartender were arrested last night following the seizure of a firearm at a bar in Green Street, Knockpatrick in Manchester.

Police reports are that at 10:30 PM, a raid was carried out at the bar where a Smith and Wesson handgun was found stashed in a bag.

When the weapon couldn’t be accounted for the police arrested ten men and the bartender.

Since the start of the year six firearms have been seized in Manchester.

On Friday, a man and a woman were arrested following the seizure of another gun in the parish.
