Principal of Tacky High School in St. Mary, Errol Bascoe has been granted bail.

Mr. Bascoe, who is facing a buggery charge, was offered six hundred thousand dollars bail when he appeared in the St. Mary Parish Court, yesterday.

He is to report to a police station and surrender his travel documents.

A stop order has been issued against him, so he cannot leave the island.

Mr. Bascoe is to return to court on May 14.

Police reports are that Mr. Bascoe was charged following an incident involving a young man at his home, on Thursday, February 29.

Defense Attorney Oswest Senior Smith says discrepancies were found in two reports of the alleged incident.
