The Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) is to receive an almost 8 per cent increase in financial allocations this year in comparison to last year.

Education Minister Fayval Williams made the announcement while speaking at a recent standing Finance Committee Meeting.

She said the Agency will receive 4.76 billion dollars up from the 4.41 billion dollars allocated last year.
