The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) says it is investigating a pollution incident in the Rio Cobre in the vicinity of Jericho.

The incident reportedly occurred sometime last night.

NEPA’s Corporate Communications Manager, Angela Hamilton says the spill resulted in a minor fish kill.

Hamilton says all efforts are being made to contain the spill.
