Reggae girls lose to Chile …again
Jamaica’s Senior Reggae girls suffered a one nil loss to Chile last night in the second game of their two match friendly international against the South Americans at the Municipal Stadium.
This was the second loss for the reggae girls in four days following the 5-1 whipping sustained in the opening match behind closed doors at the Juan Pinto Duran Complex last weekend, with Chinyelu Asher scoring the lone goal for the reggae girls.
Meanwhile, the local based members of the reggae girls aggregation, led by head of delegation Paul Beckford are expected back in the island this afternoon.
The delegation landing today includes, local based players Shaniel Buckley, Akelia Johnson and Destiny Powell , along with head coach Xavier Gilbert, and Germaine Thomas his assistant.
The rest of the players will head back to the respective clubs across the world.
The physical trainer Leacroft Lettman, equipment manager Omar Folkes, – physiotherapist Ashley Stephens, and team doctor Rushell Brown are also expected in today.
Manager Crystal Walters will land tomorrow morning.
