The Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) says it is anticipating a well-coordinated, incident-free Nomination Day tomorrow. 

Nominations will take place between 10 AM and 2 PM at designated centres across the sixty-three constituencies. 

It comes ahead of the Local Government Elections on February 26. 

Councillors are being selected for 228 electoral divisions.

The Mayor of Portmore will be directly elected. 

Director of Elections Glasspole Brown says he is confident that EOJ’s trained and experienced returning officers are prepared to execute efficiently the nomination proceedings tomorrow.
