The Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) continues to reap major success in its murder investigations.

This is according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Kevin Blake, who is head of Force Development and Logistics.

Speaking at the St. Catherine South commander’s parade and award ceremony recently, DCP Blake said the JCF continues to procure the most advanced technological infrastructure and tools to support investigations.

He said the CIB has demonstrated consistently, a high degree of effectiveness in pursuing investigations against perpetrators of crime, and in particular, gangs.
