The media fraternity has been plunged into mourning following the death of veteran broadcaster Alan Magnus.

Mr. Magnus died this morning.

He was 80 years old.

In making the announcement, the RJR Gleaner Group said Mr. Magnus worked with RJR for over 40 years and was the station’s morning man for more than 30 years.

The group has expressed condolences to Mr. Magnus’ family, loved ones and colleagues.
