PopCaan begins drain cleaning exercise in St. Thomas
Dancehall deejay PopCaan has begun work in his native St. Thomas to clear clogged drains in a bid to help the residents of the Bamboo River community in the parish.
This week, the residents raised safety concerns about the smell of the stagnant water and the dangers it poses, citing that it has become a breeding ground for disease-carrying mosquitoes.
Last Wednesday after he was fined $6,000 following a clash with law enforcement officials during his Unruly Fest, PopCaan and his team toured the area, and today (Jan 15) they have started the drain cleaning exercise.
Via his Instagram story, PopCaan shared a series of videos of himself and his team actively working in the parish as onlookers observe.
