Sunshine girl and world’s top defender Shamera Sterling-Humphrey Adelaide will be back in pink in 2024, after signing a three-year deal with the Adelaide thunderbirds in the Suncorp Super Netball League in Australia. 

The Thunderbirds’ 2023 club champion will enter her sixth season with Adelaide in 2024 on the back of the club’s first title in a decade.

in the season just concluded Sterling-Humphrey topped the league with an incredible 46 intercepts and 118 deflections, and was second for defensive rebounds with 38.

she finished third across the competition for Nissan Net Points with 1.472 – the most for the Thunderbirds – and appeared in the team of the round on seven occasions.
