At least two people are dead and several others wounded following a two-vehicle collision in Lilliput, St James this morning. 

They are 34-year-old Omar Brissett of Ironshore, St. James and 30-year-old Porshia Anglin, a Personal-care Assistant of Minneapolis, in Minnesota U.S.A.

Acting Commander for the St. James Police, Senior Superintendent Eron Samuels says preliminary reports indicate that some time after 7:40 A.M., the driver of a Toyota Voxy attempted to overtake a line of traffic and crashed into a tractor-trailer. 

SSP Samuels also reiterates the call for motorists to adhere to road safety rules to prevent loss of lives.
