More than 150 police officers awarded medals of honor for long service and good conduct
More than 150 police officers were awarded medals of honor for long service and good conduct at an award ceremony to mark the JCF’s 156th anniversary, yesterday.
Speaking at the ceremony, at the Police Officers Club in Kingston, State Minister for National Security, Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn said, in a profession that demands resilience and courage, the recipients had risen above the call of duty.
She said the ceremony provided an opportunity to reflect on the hardships that officers face on a daily basis.
