(Paul #11 is being congratulated by her team-mate after scoring a recent match for Leicester City )

The England born Leicester City Women’s team striker Lashante Paul is one of three new Newcomers named in a 25 member Reggae girls squad for the remaining games in the Concacaf women’s Gold Cup qualifiers against Panama next Wednesday and Guatemala on December 3. 

The others include : University of Florida defender Njeri Butts, and another defender in Theanna Burnett who plays for the Connecticut based Sacred Heart University in the SEC Soccer Conference in the USA. 

The rest of the squad features the Portugal based Chinyelu Asher who wore he captains arm band in the two previous games, along with Lauren Reid, Malikae Dayes, Zoe Vidaurre, Israela Groves, Ricshya Walker, Marlo Sweatman, Davia Richards, Mikayla Dayes, Shaneil Buckley and Melissa Johnson. 

It’s completed by Aliyah Morgan, Theanna  Burnett, Serena Mensa, Shanice foster, Destiny Powell, Njeri butts, Sashana Campbell, Shania Harris, Sydnie Street, Javanae Jones, Lachante Paul and Maliah Atkins.  

Meanwhile there is still no room for the reggae girls who played at the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia /New Zealand, after they were suspended by the Jamaica Football Federation for their refusal to honour the national call up against Panama and Guatemala . 

There is still no official word as it regards the meeting between the player’s union Fifpro and the local federation as it relates to the impasse between the girls and the JFF. 

In the meantime, the Reggae Girls lies third in the three team standings with just a point, after a 2-1 loss to panama  and 2-all draw against Guatemala in their two previous games
