INDECOM reports that 64 people were fatally shot by security forces in the first two quarters of 2023
The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) is reporting that 64 people were fatally shot by the security forces, in the first two quarters of this year.
Commissioner of INDECOM, Hugh Faulkner made the revelation, while speaking at a press conference this morning.
According to Commissioner Faulkner, six other persons died in police custody.
In addition, Commissioner Faulkner said as of today, there have been over 900 complaints by citizens.
And Commissioner Faulkner said 12 citizens who were either fatally shot or wounded reportedly had mental health issues.
