The man accused of killing social media influencer Slickianna was remanded when he appeared in the St James Circuit Court yesterday.

33-year-old Rushawn Patterson is to return to court on December 19 when the case will be mentioned.

Defense Lawyer Dionne Meyler-Barrett will also make a bail application for his client.

Patterson is charged with the murder of 35-year-old Slickianna, whose real name is Aneika Townsend.

It has been reported that last year October, Sickianna travelled from Kingston to Montego Bay, where she was last seen at an event in the company of Patterson.

It is alleged that Slickianna was strangled.

Her body was found floating in the sea at Reading, St James.

Following investigations Patterson was arrested and charged.
