Entertainer Ruffian remanded; new court date set for June 16
Entertainer Ruffian was remanded when she appeared in the St Catherine Parish Court today (June 2), to answer to breaches of the Firearms Act.
Music News understands that the veteran Dancehall deejay and her co-accused Daniel Gutzmore were charged with being in possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition, and possession of and dealing in ganja.
Gutzmore, who was reportedly a visitor to the premises at the time of the seizure, was granted bail in the sum of $300,000 on condition that he surrenders his travel documents and reports on Saturdays at the Portmore Police Station.
The two are to appear in the Gun Court on June 16.
Last week, veteran Dancehall entertainer Lady G was forced to clear her name following rumours that the house that was raided belonged to her.
