Issues related to Windrush generation and reparatory justice among topics to be discussed at today’s UK-Caribbean Ministerial Forum
Issues related to the Windrush generation and reparatory justice are among topics to be discussed at today’s (May 18) Ministerial Forum between the United Kingdom and the Caribbean.
The forum is being held in Kingston, Jamaica.
Foreign Affairs Minister Kamina Johnson Smith, who is Co-Chair of the Forum, noted that Jamaica is grateful to be hosting the event, as today’s meeting represents the first in-person staging of the Forum in seven years.
Noting that the UK is one of the Caribbean’s longest and most dynamic development partners, Mrs Johnson Smith said the value of the connection is undeniable.
