The lone woman accused of being a part of the Klansman/One Don Gang was today (March 8) convicted of being a gang member.

She is forty-eight-year-old, pastor, Stephanie Christie, also called “Mumma” of St Thomas.

In handing down the guilty verdict, Chief Justice Bryan Sykes said the evidence and recorded conversations showed that Christie was an insider in the gang.

A witness, who is a former member of the gang, had testified at the trial in the Home Circuit Court that Christie was the link between the gang and the police.

Evidence was given that Christie used extortion money to get legal representation for alleged gang members, and to post bail bonds for those who were arrested and charged.

Evidence was also given that Christie had a close relationship with gang leader Andre “Blackman” Bryan.

Earlier this week, Bryan was convicted of several charges including being the leader of the Spanish Town-based gang.
