Police force in mourning after Constable killed in motor vehicle accident in St. Catherine yesterday
The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is once again mourning the loss of a member who died in a motor vehicle crash, along Church Road in Bog Walk, St. Catherine, yesterday (March 3).
The officer has been identified as Constable Ricardo Williams, who was assigned to the Kingston West Division.
Reports are that at about 11:45 p.m., Williams was driving his Toyota Corolla motorcar along the roadway, when he lost control of the vehicle, which then crashed into a utility pole.
The police were summoned and Williams was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Head of the Kingston Western Police Division, Senior Superintendent Michael Phipps said the JCF’s Chaplaincy Branch and Welfare Department are providing support to relatives, colleagues and friends of the late Constable.
