Member of Parliament for South East St. Ann Lisa Hanna Lake has called on the Health Ministry to increase the staff complement at the Moneague Health Centre, especially those who treat mental health patients.

Speaking yesterday, at the official opening ceremony for the newly renovated centre, Mrs. Hanna Lake commended the existing staff for treating patients across the parish.

She noted that the task is overwhelming, and as such, she will be lobbying the Health Ministry and the North East Regional Health Authority, to see how best the mental health services offered can be improved.
