Classes at Westwood High suspended following fire; loss estimated at $10 million
While firefighters are still trying to ascertain the cause of yesterday’s fire that damaged a section of the Westwood High school in Trelawny, loss sustained is estimated at $10 million.
That’s according to Public Relations Officer at the Jamaica fire brigade, Emeleo Ebanks, who spoke to IRIE FM News this morning (February 10).

IRIE FM News understands that classes for today were suspended as a result of the fire.
Noting that there was no report of physical injury, Mr. Ebanks said a dozen students were treated for shock, resulting from the incident.
