JAS president hopeful that praedial larceny will be tackled effectively in 2023
The Jamaica Agricultural Society, JAS, is hopeful that the issue of praedial larceny will be tackled, effectively next year.
Since the start of this year, several farmers lost crops and livestock to thieves.
The government has vowed to address the issue.
JAS president Lenworth Fulton says serious effort must be made next year to clamp down on farm thieves.
He said focus must also be placed on pest control.
