SERHA theorizes that dead foetus found at KPH was flushed down toilet
The South East Regional Health Authority, SERHA, has theorized, that the deceased foetus, which was found at the Kingston Public Hospital, last Thursday, was flushed down a toilet in the Accident and Emergency Department.
Following the foetus’ discovery, the health and wellness ministry announced, that based on preliminary information, the foetus was discovered by a man cleaning the sewer, underneath the basement of the hospital.
The police and Serha have been investigating the matter.
Speaking with Irie Fm news, Serha’s Regional Director, Errol Greene says, the authority has spoken to the head of the Accident and Emergency Department, and is still reviewing patient logs, to confirm its theory.
He also noted, that a thorough probe is being done, to determine whether or not the hospital is responsible, for this incident.
