Sunshine Girls Jhaniele Fowler, Shimona Nelson and Jodi-Ann Ward will be in action for their respective teams on the opening day of the 2023 Suncorp Super Netball League in Australia.

The competition now heading into its 7th year is slated to tip-off on Saturday March 18 with Nelson and Ward taking center-court for the Collingwood Magpies against a New South Wales Swifts team who signed Romelda Aiken-George as a training partner in September.

That match will precede the grand final rematch between reigning Premiers West Coast fever and the Melbourne Vixens at the RAC Arena in Perth.

Fowler, who last season led the fever to their first title, enters the campaign as the reigning MVP and scoring champion.

Action on match one continues the following day with Kadie-Ann Dehaney suiting up for Sunshine Coast Lightning against Giants Netball and also sees Shamera Sterling and Latanya Wilson lining up for the Adelaide Thunderbirds against the Queensland Firebirds.

The Suncorp Super Netball finals series will be played across four weeks in June and July with the grand final set for Saturday July 8.
