The Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) conducted several operations yesterday to disrupt illegal garages operating in the area.

Municipal Police Commandant Dwayne Anderson noted, that the operations focused on Vineyard Town and Waltham Park.

He said some 15 broken-down vehicles, were removed from the public roadways.

He noted that the vehicles were hampering access to the public spaces.

Mr. Anderson appealed to the operators of the illegal garages, to cease operations with immediate effect.
