Girl washed away by river found dead; search continues for sister
The body of a young girl who was carried away by a river in Jobs Hill, St. Mary, was found this morning.
A second child who was also washed away is still missing.
According to police reports, the two children, aged 10 and 14, are related.
They allegedly went to the river, fell in, and got carried away by the water.
Superintendent of Police in charge of the St. Mary division, Bobbete Morgan Simpson, told IRIE FM News that the search continues for the other girl.
